Sulkhan Iberieli, the famous scientist and the head of the excavation of the desert monastery complex, does not have the funds to finish his work. He is forced to turn to different authorities and people for help. He is supported by a young archaeologist, Tamriko, but their efforts end in failure.

Based on Nodar Dumbadze’s novel “Don’t Be Afraid, Mother”, the film depicts the dangerous life of border guards. Avtandil Jakeli, doing his mandatory military service in a border village, often thinks of his parents, friends, and the girl next door, Daduna.

A man whose parents were killed and whose estate was confiscated during Soviet times returns to his ancestral village to build a school for disabled children.

A group of geologists discover oil under the fields where Sosana, the aged and anachronistic father, raises his herd with his unhappy wife, her friend and his growing boy with whom he displays a wonderful rapport. The land is invaded by big machinery that feels remarkably alien to the serene and natural aesthetic of the valley. The family all enjoys the pleasures and storytelling capacity a slide projector grants them, but it too feels distinctly out of place in a town with no plumbing.

Georgian and foreign alpinists make an effort to ascend a high mountain. The weather is inclement making their effort extremely perilous. Every step on the snow-covered trail is precarious. Professionalism, firmness and compassion have far more value than the physical ability.

For summer holidays Rezo and Daro are taken by their father to village.The siblings want to play and have fun with the other children, but the father imposes a strict regime on his children and forces them to spend the whole day in school. It is more difficult for the father to follow the regime than his children. And so it goes until the children rebel...

The House of Joy is a documentary about the creation of the film musical Keto and Kote, which was called the Georgian movie of the twentieth century. It reveals how the film was made, despite the strict censorship of the Stalin's regime.

Many years after the war, two childhood friends with different political views, Aka and Mojito, meet in Europe. Their only reason for enmity was not politics, but that they both loved the same woman, Natia. Instead of reconciliation, events develop in such a way that the gap between them deepens even more.
