Sixteen year old Bibi comes to her aunt Toni's boarding house where she is seduced by lesbian women.

A deaf and dumb accountant suffers from a psychic trauma in his childhood. He is collecting puppets and mutilates female bodies in the mortuary. After his secret love died by an accident he starts to kill.

A middle-class couple (Donata Höffner and “Tatort” detective Charles Brauer) desperately want a child. But the doctors say the potential father is infertile. With her husband's consent, the woman hits on a former lover (Dietrich Mattausch). He doesn't need to be asked twice and is soon in bed with her... Dominik Graf received the Young Director Award at the Bavarian Film Festival for his original final project at the Munich University.

Frank and his director hire a fast talking hustler named José (Guilherme di Padua) to help them to find Mario who seems alway to have just left whenever they arrive. Via Appia is the nickname of a Rio district where male prostitutes hang out...

In April 1992, ultra-orthodox Jews of the Athra-Kadisha came to Hamburg to demonstrate against the final destruction of the Jewish cemetery. The cemetery, where bones still lie, was to be built on with a shopping centre. The film shows the history of this Jewish cemetery, recalls the former Jewish community in Altona and gives an insight into Jewish religious life and culture.

Denise is a beautiful country girl whose life is filled with joy and love for her handsome boyfriend, Freddy. But living in an idyllic existence soon bores her, and she is off to the big city to experience the glamour and glitz for herself. She meets Frank, a dashing nightclub owner who takes her under his wing. But she doesn't take kindly to the fact that she's just one of his stable of women and must choose between the big city life and her dreary farm life.
