Biography

Christian "Chris" Pohl (born February 9, 1972 in Berlin-Kreuzberg) is a German musician. He is the thinking head of several projects; Such as Terminal Choice, Tumor, Seelenkrank, Waldgeist, Blutengel, Pain of Progress, Miss Construction and The Lonely Soul Experience. In each of them maintains a different and unique style, managing to create themes that today should be considered icons within the genre; So the variety is quite broad, taking as main tool the electronic music with dark touches. However, not all of these Pohl projects are still on, for now only Blutengel, Miss Construction and The Lonely Soul Experience

BlutEngel: Live Lines

Long overdue, Blutengel is set to release their first live DVD, Live Lines, on their new North American home, Metropolis Records. Filmed with nine cameras on the Demon-Kiss-tour in 2004 in Dortmund and Cologne Germany, the producers employ a wide array of visual techniques. From the aesthetic of silent movies, via the fast-paced cut of video clips, to the naked documentary style the band gives each of the performed songs their fitting look. The DVD includes a wide array of bonus features on more than 40 minutes of playing time, ranging from backstage and tour bus-material, video clips, plus trailers and behind the scenes clips from "Kinder der Nacht."
