Biography
Irene Emma Solis-Villamor is a Filipino screenwriter and director. After starting out as an apprentice to fellow filmmaker Joyce Bernal, Villamor began to work as an assistant and co-director for various films and television shows. Her first work as a full-fledged director is "Camp Sawi". Villamor is best known for her realistic, flawed, and layered characters, with stories based on their personal journeys.
