Biography
Éric Heumann, born on October 30, 1956, is a French film producer and director. Holding a master's degree in sociology and a DEA in sociology from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (under the direction of Michel Crozier), he began his career at MK2, where he was notably in charge of acquisitions, production, and TV and international sales. In 1984, he created Paradis Films, a film production company of which he is the current co-manager. In 1986, he was one of the co-founders of the film distribution company Bac Films, alongside Jean Labadie and Stéphane Sorlat. He was one of the founders of the distribution company Ocean Films in the late 1990s.
