Jeca Tatu is a lazy, simple-minded guy who has his property threatened by the greed of a landowner.

It is the story of Pedro, who after being passed over by his brothers, wanders the world in search of a better life, but on the way, finds children who eventually conquer it, and in order to help them, he passes scamming other people he met along the way, telling lies, however, always with the goal of helping him new friends. And kills a cow.

Zenó (Mazzaropi) is a poor gardener of a traditional school in São Paulo who falls in love with one of the local girls, much richer and younger than him. Willing to conquer her, he decides to get rich, getting involved in the most varied and funny situations.

In colonial Brazil, rich farmer and owner of slaves is blackmailed by a lady; to get rid of the problem, he involves innocent countrymen in a diabolical plan.

The humble Zacarias goes to the big city with his wife to help their son who wants to be a Doctor. There he gets a job, and lives a lot of funny adventures as a taxi driver.
