Our story begins with Junior Detective LIN, who has just been put in charge of a case that appears to be a suicide. Most curiously, the crime scene has many features in common with a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel. Detective Lin quickly discovers that it is a murder case. Meanwhile, a group of young sleuths supports their detective club president GAO’s dream to win a writing contest. The three club members, psychologist ZHONG, social worker WEN, and pharmacist ZHANG, each harbor a hidden secret. GAO could never have expected that he would become implicated as the killer in an actual murder case! As Detective LIN delves deeper into his case, a series of seemingly unrelated events all end up pointing towards the club members.

Unable to piece the night before together, Dong is determined not to let it stand in his way. He cleans up the scene and sets it up like a robbery went wrong but leaves traces of himself to be found unknowingly.While the police search the apartment, it turns out all residents have something to hide. A foreign caretaker always quarrels with Meng, a peeping Tom at the massage shop. This landlord seems kind and polite but, in fact, abuses his wife, an inharmonious family that pretends to be happy, and an owner of a publishing house in debt. To unravel the cause of Meng’s death, the long-kept darkest secrets, and everyone seems to have a motive for this murder.

The story revolves around two female protagonists, observing their lives and efforts in the urban jungle, the various difficulties and pressures they face, the hardships of pursuing their dreams, and the maintenance of interpersonal relationships. The main characters are passionate about performing arts, and through their experiences, the audience gains insight into the hardships, intense competition, efforts, and rewards in the entertainment industry. At the same time, the story explores young people’s curiosity and exploration of romantic relationships, examining modern society’s views on love, gender equality, and personal freedom.

This is a four-part anthology comedy. The themes of four parts are: car, house, body and friendship. The central characters are a plastic surgeon Chen, a nurse, an experienced maid, three energetic teenagers and a young couple. The maid Ying is like a knight on her "iron horse" (a bicycle), fighting in the city. Every day she rushes home after work to wait up for a husband never returns. The new nurse has problem with her colleague because they support different idle. What she also doesn't know is the reason why her brother's girlfriend sends her free lunchbox so often.
