Biography
Melanie Stevens was born on 29 November 1992 to Sue Stevens, a nurse and Rik Stevens, a business consultant. She grew up in South Wales, with a couple of years spent living in Melbourne, Australia, and began acting and singing at the age of 6. She was an avid member of Bridgend Youth Theatre, where she met Roger Burnell who cast her in her first on-screen role as Angela in Running Pains which was aired on ITV. She then went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she met her husband Jack DeVos.
