John Raymond Rivera, better known by his ring name Rocky Romero, is a Cuban-American professional wrestler and commentator currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he also serves in executive and talent liaison roles. Debuting in 1997, Romero has built a decorated career as a tag team specialist—winning multiple IWGP and ROH Tag Team Championships as part of teams like Havana Pitbulls, Forever Hooligans and Roppongi Vice—while also transitioning into commentary and backstage production duties.
