The series begins with history teacher Nima Zande-Karimi (Siamak Ansari) realizing that his extensive research on Persian and world history is of little use to financing his day-to-day life. He is about to leave Tehran for good to go back to his hometown by the name of Darab, when he comes across young university student Roya Atabaki (Sahar Jafari-Jozani) who is researching for her final year dissertation, which is regarding the period 1198–1203, that is said to be a period of turmoil for Iran's ruling elite. Such turmoil that, very few books are available on that period for Roya's research. It is then that Nima receives an anonymous telephone call, which leads him to Niavaran Palace (currently a museum), where he is told to have a coffee and wait. The coffee (which is bitter) is ready and he duly drinks it, his sight becomes hazy, and when he manages to refocus he is in the year 1201 (1822 AD), and the story develops therein.

Hedayat and Arsalan are two down and out ex-cons with a conscious who have fallen on hard times. When they hear that Meshkat, an old billionaire without any heirs, is in a coma and likely to die, they come up with a plan to once and for all relieve themselves from their misfortunes. This entertaining real action, puppets movie narrates the adventures of a stouthearted boy who is kidnapped by two bandits. During the abduction, he will help a girl, he meets, who has been held prisoner in her room for her entire life. After failing a course for several times, Kolah Ghermezi finally passes it and enters a higher level. He returns home and happily shows his marks to Aghaye Mojri and Narges; who are supposed to be his parents now. Aghaye Mojri promises to buy a bicycle for him as a gift. However, he does not have adequate money to buy that. The news of Kolah Ghermezi’s success is broadcasted on TV, then his uncle calls him and invites all of them to his luxurious house. He gives a nice and huge bicycle to Kolah Ghermezi as a gift.

Officer Ghorbani is a good and on time police officer but when a mummy corpse is find his troubles and adventures begin and he has to find a way to save the mummy from the thieves.

A watermelon vendor sells all his watermelons with a pickup truck, leaving one very large watermelon. A man comes to buy a watermelon, but because he doesn't have enough money, he returns empty-handed. After him, an old man comes and buys the watermelon. When he goes home, due to a fight with his wife, he throws the watermelon out the window in anger, and it falls into a van.

A genius math student, Bizhan, falls in love with a classmate, Zohre. Zohre's parents postpone their marriage till Bizhan, who has been raised in an Orphanage, finds his never-known parents.

Bemani has just graduated from university. He wants to get employed in a governmental office but things in the office don't go as he thought.

Mr. Moghadam, a film director, visits a mental hospital one day and asks the hospital authorities to admit a schizophrenic patient. The authorities ask: Who is the patient? Moghadam answers: Myself. In the hospital, Moghadam remembers that he went to a producer to make a movie, and the producer mentioned the condition of making the movie that his tender and romantic script would be transformed into a violent and eventful one, which would of course be a big seller. Moghadam is forced to accept. But a few days later, with the change in government policies regarding film and cinema; the "producer" does not consider the new script worthy of production because it is violent and eventful. Until.....
