A young taxi driver who is a happy man encounters lots of different stories through his daily life. One day, he is driving a young American woman and he enters an unusual and protracted adventure which he should follow to the end. The American woman has lost the address she is going to refer and it is almost impossible to reach her relatives. The young driver believes that he should help the woman until she finds her relatives and this issue causes many problems between him and his fiancee. He also has other problems regarding the American woman and his unusual friend.

When Amir learns that the woman who is to marry his younger brother Reza is having an affair with another man, he murders her to restore his family's good name. Considering the killing to be a matter of honor, Amir stoically goes to prison for 12 years where his fellow inmates regard him as a hero. But when he is released, he discovers that the Iran he knew has changed.

Arjang, A 50-year old man, has loved Roya from his childhood years but he has failed to marry her due to some reasons. Roya migrates to the united states with her family due to some social restrictions of 1980s.
