Biography
An Egyptian screenwriter and novelist who was born in Tanta, Gharbia Governorate. He graduated from the Department of Psychological and Social Studies at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University in 1962 with a BA. He worked in the field of education for many years, until he resigned in 1982 to pursue writing. He gained recognition through writing many successful TV series, including Al-Helmiya Nights, Honey and Tears, Arabesque and The White Flag. He passed away in 2010 after suffering from a severe drop in the blood circulation.
