The love story of Zuleyha, who grew up without a father and works with Yilmaz as an auxiliary weaver in order to earn money for her brother, a gambler. The lives of these two young people blinded by the love of one ordinary night will turn into a dark nightmare. This nightmare will take them first from Istanbul and far away, and later to the estate of the Yaman family. In the first episode of the series, Yilmaz and Zuleyha set out to work on the Yaman estate. However, because of one of Zuleyha's lies - the lives of all of them will change radically.
When Olcay's husband commits suicide and leaves a huge debt behind, Olcay and her teenage daughter, Duru, are forced to move to a slum in Istanbul. They find themselves financially dependent on Olcay's only remaining friend, so Olcay starts to look for a job. Without any degree or experience, she tries to survive doing all sorts of odd jobs. Meanwhile, her neighbors, who are completely different from the people in Olcay's old world, begin to get to like the mother and daughter. Some even fall in love.

Tas (Rock) is a film that presents a cross-section of the life of a family living a hard life in the countryside. It is a touch of sadness in the life of people living in nature- even as a part of it. And that life is nothing more than the waiting of a woman and man who lost their son. After waiting for many years, the family tries to get rid of the uncertainty by believing that the wounded man they found at the door is Selim (Ahmet Varli), their son.
Nuri has a low salary job and can't convince his wife to live with it, so the wife (her name Nuriye) tries to go out and work with her brother at a disco and this makes Nuri become crazy.
Yalçın and Bahadır are two close friends with contrasting personalities. However, Yalçın's unexpected death painfully separates the two friends. Additionally, his platonic love for Demet, whom he works with but can’t bring himself to confess his feelings to, adds another layer of complexity to his adventure.
The film is based on 'Fikrimin Ince Gulu', a novel by Adalet Agaoglu, which depicts a first generation gurbetci/guest-worker returning home. It covers his land journey in short bursts from Germany to the Turkey's west border - and extensively from thereon to his village close to Ankara - capital of Turkey. He begins his journey purchasing a second hand yellow Mercedes - possibly his first car - using his meager savings working as a laborer. Offering deep insight into the mind of a manual laborer Bayram (Ilyas Salman) making his first trip back home, resorting to flashbacks in highlighting Bayram's motivation and experiences from his childhood right up to the events leading to his first departure from Turkey to Germany.
