Chiquititas is a Brazilian children's musical telenovela co-produced by SBT and Telefe and originally broadcast on SBT from July 28, 1997, to January 19, 2001. Based on the original Argentine telenovela created by Cris Morena, it was adapted for Brazilian television by Ecila Pedroso for the first season and Caio de Andrade for the subsequent seasons. Starring Flávia Monteiro, Fernanda Souza, and a large ensemble cast, the series ran for five seasons and became one of the most successful children's productions in Brazilian television history. Colégio Brasil is a Brazilian children's telenovela produced by JPO Produções and broadcast by SBT from May 6 to September 20, 1996. Written by Yoya Wursch and directed by Roberto Talma and José Paulo Vallone, the telenovela was produced in partnership with JPO Produções and had 117 episodes. It stars Giuseppe Oristanio, Maria Padilha, Taumaturgo Ferreira, Patrícia de Sabrit, Paulo Nigro, Ana Kutner, Ittala Nandi, Cláudia Lira, Edwin Luisi, Afonso Nigro, and Fausto Maule.
