The Future Groom tells the story of a groom-to-be who sets out to ask for the girl he loves from his family. Sema and Hasan are a couple who are planning to get married. Taking action for this, Hasan sets off from Istanbul to Cyprus to ask for Sema, the daughter of a Cypriot family. However, when the groom candidate Hasan sets foot in Cyprus, the peaceful island life is turned upside down. The family, who has been living a quiet life on the island until this time, faces strange situations because of Hasan, a man who makes a mess when he gets worried.

The state has seized the land stolen by Mask, a notorious and ruthless bandit. Mask cannot accept the loss of his land and plans to eliminate the sheriffs involved in the matter. After raiding the deputy sheriff's house and killing him, Mask tasks his brother with killing the sheriff. Mask's brother goes to the sheriff's farm and gets into a fight with the sheriff, during which he is killed. Mask is now thoroughly hostile toward the sheriff.
