Celebrity Mastermind is a British television quiz show broadcast by BBC television. The show is a spin-off of the long-running quiz show Mastermind, with the exception that all the contestants are celebrities. As with the main show, John Humphrys is the host and question-master. Magnus Magnusson was quizmaster on the 2003/04 episodes featuring Jonathan Meades as winner.
When a father has to go abroad for work, he leaves his children in the care of his sister who comes to stay with them, only to be shocked when she witnesses their behavior. As the family struggles to adjust to the changes, the aunt wisely helps her brother's children through their problems.
The events of the series revolve around a retired Arabic language teacher who tries to restore good relations between his former students and their mother after they deteriorate as a result of some circumstances, in addition to providing treatment and solutions to a number of society’s problems in a satirical comedic style.

Mamdouh, a famous singer, meets Laila on the shores of an Fayum during the shooting of a movie. An Attraction between the two prompts Mamdouh to propose to Laila. However, Laila's Father is reluctant to accept the marriage proposal and asks for some time to think. Laila then discovers that her mother Rawhey is not dead as she was led to believe, and is in fact a belly dancer in a nightclub. Laila's father tries to guide her mother back on the right track for the sake of their daughter's reputation and her future as Mamdouh's wife, but the owner of the nightclub where Laila's mother works starts to blackmail everyone concerned.
