From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Punit Malhotra is an Indian film director. His first film, I Hate Luv Storys,released on 2 July 2010, was a big success in India (Budget:25 crores, Collection (amount received by Producer:over 60 cr). Before directing, he was also into modelling and has done a number of commercials and short films. He is the nephew of famous Indian designer Manish Malhotra. He is supposedly seeing Sonam Kapoor, the Bollywood actress according to media reports.
