Hotel Cæsar is a Norwegian soap opera that has been broadcast Monday to Friday on TV 2 since 1998. It was created by Swedish duo Peter Emanuel Falck and Christian Wikander. The show consists of more than 2,500 episodes, making it the longest running drama in television in Scandinavia.

The spark in Lene’s marriage is long gone and when she suddenly loses her job at a prestigious advertisement agency, she feels lost and humiliated, wondering what to do next. One drunken night, she posts a scantily clad picture of herself wearing a traditional folk costume – mostly as a joke – on the website InsideFans. Lene soon realizes there is a niche audience out there who are thirsty for more and willing to pay for it.

Linn and Ingvar invite their upcoming and ambitious co-worker Ingeborg and her boyfriend on a luxury party-trip on the ferry from Oslo to Copenhagen, where Linn asks her co-worker a question that puts a heavy strain on their relations.

After a couple of tense and unsettling encounters, three dimwits rape the poor girl and she plots an excruciatingly painful vengeance for all of them.

On a dark night, under a full moon, a childless couple find a crying baby on their doorstep and decide to adopt him. As the years pass, they come to discover that their young son is not like other children.
