Biography
Shaun Simpson is a retired professional wrestler from South Africa. The son of wrestler Alec Simpson, who competed under the name Sammy Cohen, Shaun made his debut in 1987 with the American promotion World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW). He teamed with his brother Steve Simpson, and together they won the WCWA World Tag Team Championship. The Simpson brothers became popular figures in WCCW, notably feuding with John Tatum and Jack Victory. In storyline, they were aligned with the Von Erich family, further cementing their status as fan favorites. In 1989, the brothers left WCCW to wrestle in South Africa. Steve returned briefly to the U.S. in 1991 to compete in the Global Wrestling Federation (GWF), while Shaun retired from professional wrestling.
