Eddie McGuire

The Footy Show is a Logie Award winning Australian sports television program, shown on the Nine Network and its affiliates. The show, which is dedicated to the Australian Football League (AFL) and Australian rules football, made its debut on 24 March 1994 at the same time as the other version which relates to the National Rugby League and rugby league. Although both programs are generally broadcast in the same time slot, as both are shown in distinct geographical regions according to areas where one or the other sport predominates, there is little confusion.

Millionaire Hot Seat, also known as Hot Seat, is an Australian television quiz show. The show is a spin-off of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? which began airing on the Nine Network on 20 April 2009. As with the original version of the show, it is hosted by Eddie McGuire. A special prime time edition aired on 8 June 2009.

Sydney New Year's Eve is an annual multi-tiered event held every New Year's Eve over Sydney Harbour, centering on the Harbour Bridge. 1 vs. 100 is an Australian spin-off game show based on the American version of the same name and the original Dutch version created by Endemol. The game pits one person against 100 others for a chance to win one million dollars. The program is hosted by former Nine Network CEO and personality Eddie McGuire. The Australian version of the show premiered on 29 January 2007 at 8:30 pm on the Nine Network and is recorded in the Melbourne Docklands Central City Studios. The format of the Australian show is based on series 2 of the US show. The prize ladder is half the value of the US ladder, with a single million-dollar jackpot for eliminating all 100 players. A second season of the show started airing on Friday, 6 June 2008 to 13 June 2008, but it was put on hiatus then cancelled.
