Hotel Cæsar is a Norwegian soap opera that has been broadcast Monday to Friday on TV 2 since 1998. It was created by Swedish duo Peter Emanuel Falck and Christian Wikander. The show consists of more than 2,500 episodes, making it the longest running drama in television in Scandinavia.

The film is based on a 2003 novel by the same name, written by Norwegian author Jostein Gaarder. The main character is the young boy Georg who one day finds a long letter from his deceased father. The letter tells, among other things, about the father's youthful love for the mysterious "orange girl" (appelsinpiken), and leaves a mystery for Georg to solve.

Himmelblå is a Norwegian drama series which aired on NRK1 in Norway, on SVT in Sweden and on RÚV in Iceland. It is based on the British TV drama Two Thousand Acres of Sky written by Timothy Prager and produced by Adrian Bate.
