Biography
A consummate actress whose poise and affable presence has won the hearts of many Singaporeans, Chen Li Ping remains as one of the nation's most well-adored personalities. Following her TV debut in 1985, Li Ping quickly rose to fame with her acting talents and pleasant image, helming many significant lead roles in both period and contemporary dramas with much competence. Li Ping's breakthrough role came in the form of "Miss Aiyoyo" in "Good Morning, Sir!". Her natural and endearing performance as the bubbly teacher stamped an indelible impression in the hearts of media and viewers alike, lifting her to the pinnacle of her acting career. The role remains popular and memorable, sparking many other spin-off projects over the years. It was the longest local drama that had been produced by Mediacorp to date, with 180 episodes. Originally dubbed as the 2010 version of the acclaimed 2003 serial Holland V, it starred the veterans Chen Liping and Huang Wenyong, as well as Yvonne Lim, Belinda Lee, Cai Peixuan and Joanne Peh.

A Child's Hope was a chinese medical drama made to promote the charity known as National Kidney Foundation Singapore that aired on Medicorp TV Channel 8 that ran from 2003 to 2004 and focused on the working and personal lives of the doctors, social workers and trainee nurses in the paediatric department who care for critically ill children with chronic diseases or terminal illnesses, such as congenital heart diseases and kidney problems.

The Golden Path is a 30-episode drama serial. Set in 1982 and spanning 25 years, it tells the story of a family embroiled in conflicts of interest, webs of deceit, love, hatred and vengeance. The drama was produced by MediaCorp in celebration of the company's 25 years of local Chinese drama production and incorporates scenes from past dramas such as The Seletar Robbery, The Flying Fish, Pretty Faces, Turn of the Tide, Finishing Lines, The Last Applause, Stepping Out, The Golden Pillow and Holland V. The serial was telecast on MediaCorp TV Channel 8, from 11 December 2007, weekdays at 9:00pm. The series finale aired on 21 January 2008.

As his wife, Isabella, needs to go on a business trip and the maid is on leave, he makes plans for his parents to take care of his son, Huanhuan. Wenxiang is unhappy Huanhuan is closer to his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth. Potato organises a wedding anniversary party, in the hope of earning some red packet money, but his neighbours prove too smart for him.
