The film is about frontier-guards who averts the diversion in hydroelectric power station which was built by another state.

In the fall of 1945, former front-line soldier Umar Badalov makes his way into a deserted village. He honestly fulfilled his military duty, now he has been commissioned and here he is in his village. Autumn dying nature and a devastated village, painted with tragedy, in which he did not meet a soul, except for one dead dog.

Screen adaption of Alim Keshokov's novel of the same name. The film takes place before and during the civil war.

Story of the encounter of two different cultures (Bedouin & Cherkess) in the year 1900 during the Ottoman period in the territory now known as Jordan. Conflicts arose over land and water rights and in the midst of these conflicts an impossible love story which amplifies the difference between the two cultures.
