Major League Wrestling (MLW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Charleston, South Carolina. The promotion was founded in 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by former WWE writer Court Bauer. The promotion markets its product as "Hybrid Wrestling", with its roster featuring a mix of different professional wrestling styles.

Tag Wars 2008 was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on April 18, 2008 in Detroit, Michigan.

Wrestling Society X was a short-lived professional wrestling-based television series produced in 2006 by Big Vision Entertainment. The weekly television series formerly aired on MTV, MTV2, MTV Tr3s, and over a dozen other MTV outlets throughout the world. WSXtra, an extra program featuring WSX matches and interviews not broadcast on television, was available on the promotion's MTV website and Video on Demand. WSX was presented as a secret society of wrestling that used a venue referred to as the WSX Bunker, complete with an artificially worn-out looking ring for its matchups. In matches held within this venue, falls count anywhere was the stipulation. The program also stood out due to its unorthodox approach to pro wrestling; this included frequent use of highly expressive plants, crowd sound effects, electrical sound effects, visual effects, and camera shaking when a wrestler would fall prey to electrical weapons. Along with wrestling, WSX featured musical guests playing at the start of each television broadcast, with some band members joining the broadcast team after the performance.

2005 may have been the most memorable year in Ring of Honor history. In year 4 of it's existence, ROH reached new heights, and was home to the best wrestling on the planet. Spanning this compilation are some of ROH's biggest matches, moments, and the crowning of three new ROH World Champions.

Ring of Honor began 2003 by entering into new territory and ended it with some of the best wrestlers from Japan gracing the ring, and in-between firmly established ROH as the premier wrestling company on the planet. Whether it be in Strong Style competition or high-flying exhibitions, tag team battles or in championship bouts, Ring of Honor proved itself the home of true no limits wrestling.

Double or Nothing was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). This was the inaugural event under the AEW banner and took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada on May 25, 2019.

In May of 2004, at an event dubbed "Generation Next" because of its intent to give a new generation of wrestlers a chance to shine, four men took it upon themselves to crash the party and change the landscape of Ring of Honor. Led by Alex Shelley, the group took the name Generation Next for themselves and thus began the ROH careers of Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Jack Evans. Going into battle against foes such as The Briscoes & CM Punk, and even assualting legends like Ricky Steamboat, the quartet initally chose to take their spots but over time, with the addition of Matt Sydal, they earned their stripes with both the ROH faithful and the locker room as well. GenNext was a unit that launched five men straight into the spotlight, led one man to the ROH World Title, and in this 2-Disc DVD collection, containing 17 matches as well as key moments in their genesis, witness the Rise of Generation Next...

Hell Freezes Over was a wrestling event held by Ring of Honor. It took place on January 14, 2006 at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show’s name comes from the main event, as ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson takes on Combat Zone Wrestling’s Chris Hero. The match came about after Danielson and Hero made several comments about each other on the internet. Danielson then sent an open contract for a shot at the ROH World Championship to CZW, who then signed Hero. Earlier in the day, CZW held An Afternoon of Main Events at the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia. During the show, Bryan Danielson, ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuinness, and ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries and Roderick Strong jumped the guard rail, starting a fight with several CZW wrestlers. The show would be the start of the Ring of Honor vs. Combat Zone Wrestling feud, which would last for seven months.
