Wrestling Society X was a short-lived professional wrestling-based television series produced in 2006 by Big Vision Entertainment. The weekly television series formerly aired on MTV, MTV2, MTV Tr3s, and over a dozen other MTV outlets throughout the world. WSXtra, an extra program featuring WSX matches and interviews not broadcast on television, was available on the promotion's MTV website and Video on Demand. WSX was presented as a secret society of wrestling that used a venue referred to as the WSX Bunker, complete with an artificially worn-out looking ring for its matchups. In matches held within this venue, falls count anywhere was the stipulation. The program also stood out due to its unorthodox approach to pro wrestling; this included frequent use of highly expressive plants, crowd sound effects, electrical sound effects, visual effects, and camera shaking when a wrestler would fall prey to electrical weapons. Along with wrestling, WSX featured musical guests playing at the start of each television broadcast, with some band members joining the broadcast team after the performance.

CHIKARA adds another tradition during Season Six, the Rey de Voladores tournament! Eight wrestlers compete in two elimination matches, on their way to the final round! Tim Donst makes his CHIKARA debut, and Claudio Castagnoli is forced to rejoin the Kings of Wrestling!

Fueling the Fire was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on August 1, 2008 in Manassas, Virginia. The main event featured The Age of the Fall (Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black) defeding their ROH World Tag Team Championships against Pro Wrestling NOAH's Naomichi Marufuji & Go Shiozaki.

Death before Dishonor VI was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on August 2, 2008 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York. It featured a Four Way Elimination Match for the ROH World Title as the main event pitting champion Nigel McGuinness against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli and Tyler Black.

Tag Wars 2008 was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on April 18, 2008 in Detroit, Michigan.

Take No Prisoners was the inaugural Take No Prisoners professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on March 16, 2008 from the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Return Engagement was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on April 19, 2008 at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois.

Bedlam in Beantown was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on April 11, 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Glory By Honor VII was the 7th Glory by Honor professional wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on September 20, 2008, at the Alhambra Center in Philadelphia, PA. The show was headlined by a three-way Steel Cage Warfare match, pitting the teams of Austin Aries and the Briscoes, The Age of the Fall, and Necro Butcher (with no partners) against each other.

The fifth CZW Tournament of Death was held in Smyrna, Delaware on July 29, 2006. The format changed slightly for this show, with the first round matches being three-way elimination matches, the second round matches being 4-way double elimination matches, and the final being a single elimination 4-way match.

The CZW Tournament of Death 3, also known as “Banned… My Ass!”, took place on July 24, 2004, in Smyrna, Delaware. This hardcore wrestling event featured intense death matches, and it was the third instalment in the Tournament of Death series.

Northern Navigation was a wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on July 25, 2008 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

CZW Tournament of Death VII, held in Smyrna, Delaware on May 17, 2008, was a groundbreaking event in professional wrestling. Featuring a mix of hardcore and deathmatch styles, it showcased intense battles with light tubes, barbed wire, and other unconventional weaponry. Notably, it marked the first time a female competitor participated in the Tournament of Death, adding an exciting dimension to the brutal competition

The Tournament of Death VI was a high-octane professional wrestling event hosted by Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). It took place on June 9, 2007, in Smyrna, Delaware. Known for its extreme and ultraviolent matches, this tournament featured some of the most daring and intense bouts in CZW history. From light tubes and ladders to barbed wire boards and no ropes, the competitors pushed their limits in pursuit of victory. The showdown saw Drake Younger in an ultraviolent divide & conquer 200 light tube lumberjack death match against Brain Damage.
