At a time when matches between big-name Superstars are usually only seen on pay-per-view, WCW presents Clash of the Champions on free TV.

WCW grew out of a southern promotion, into a giant that battled World Wrestling Entertainment every Monday Night. For the first time ever, the complete story of World Championship Wrestling, from Ted Turner’s purchase and entry into the world of professional wrestling, through the Monday Night Wars, and the company’s eventual collapse.

Dream tag team pairings are drawn from the Lethal Lottery and compete in the Battlebowl Battle Royal. Featuring WCW favorites including Sting, Lex Luger, Abdullah the Butcher, "Stunning" Steve Austin, Rick Rude, and many more.

The Four Horsemen battle Sting, Brian Pillman, and The Steiner Brothers in a WarGames Cage Match. The Fabulous Freebirds face Doom for the WCW World Tag Team Championship. Stan Hansen battles Big Van Vader. Lex Luger faces Danny Spivey. Plus, Dustin Rhodes and much more.

For close to a decade, professional wrestling fans loved Clash of the Champions, a series of supercards that aired on TBS, featuring the biggest stars of first NWA and the WCW. Over the course of 35 events from 1988 through 1997, fans were treated to championship contests, grudge matches, and spectacular moments. Many of these matches have never been released on home video until now. The Best of the Clash of the Champions, hosted by 3-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, will highlight some of the greatest matches in the event’s ten-year history and features fan favorites Ric Flair, Sting, The Road Warriors, Lex Luger, the Four Horsemen, the nWo, and so many more.

Clash of the Champions XI took place on June 13, 1990 in Charleston, South Carolina. There were 4100 fans in attendance at the McAlister Field House on the campus of The Citadel and the show drew a 4.1 rating on TBS. This was the build up show for The Great American Bash.

Sting battles Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Doom defends the NWA Tag Team Championship against The Rock 'N' Roll Express. The Steiner Brothers clash with The Fabulous Freebirds. Plus, Big Van Vader, The Four Horsemen, and more.

Sixty men fill three rings for one gigantic Battle Royal for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Participants include Lex Luger, Diamond Dallas Page, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and many more. Plus, Sting battles Ric Flair and much more action.

Ric Flair puts the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tatsumi Fujinami. Arn Anderson defends the Television Championship against Bobby Eaton. Lex Luger & Sting challenge The Steiner Brothers for the Tag Team Championship. Former partners Ron Simmons and Butch Reed collide.

WCW Clash of The Champions XIII took place on November 20, 1990 at the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida. There were 5000 fans in attendance and the show drew a 4.2 rating on TBS. This Clash of the Champions set up for Starrcade '90: Collision Course.

Lex Luger battles Barry Windham in a Steel Cage Match for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Sting takes on Nikita Koloff in a Russian Chain Match. Rick Steiner faces Arn Anderson and Paul E. Dangerously in a Handicap Steel Cage Match. Plus, Dustin Rhodes, The Fabulous Freebirds and much more.

WCW Clash of The Champions XII took place on September 5, 1990 at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina. There were 4,000 fans in attendance and the show drew a 5.0 rating on TBS. The Master Blasters debuted at this event, however, after approximately one week Iron was replaced by Blade. Ric Flair was disqualified due to interference by Stan Hansen. After their match, Sting attempted to unmask the Black Scorpion, tearing away his black mask only to reveal a red mask underneath. The Scorpion quickly escaped when the "real" Black Scorpion appeared on the entrance ramp. Although he was never truly unmasked, the Black Scorpion that Sting wrestled was Al Perez.

Terror rules the ring as Sid Vicious challenges Sting for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Lex Luger defends the United States Championship against Stan Hansen. Doom defends the NWA Tag Team Championship against Ric Flair & Arn Anderson. The Steiner Brothers battle The Nasty Boys.

Clash of the Champions XV took place on June 12, 1991 at the Civic Auditorium in Knoxville, Tennessee. There were 5,000 fans in attendance and the show drew a 3.9 rating on TBS.

This two hour DVD release contains wild, bloody matches and brawls from Smoky Mountain Wrestling arena events between 1993 and 1995, most of which were never shown on television! Announcers like Les Thatcher, Dutch Mantell, Chip Kessler and more call the action live, with special match intros by Jim Cornette, and second audio track expert commentary by Cornette and the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer!
