Vito Pandolfi

The story of a woman who marries the brother of a guardian who was killed by her brother.

Checo, the son of poor Friulian farmers, feels different from other boys because he is more intelligent, sensitive, and gifted with imagination. Others isolate and mock him, and give him the nickname of "Scarecrow," and Checo ends up identifying with that macabre bird. One day, exasperated, he decides to flee to Venice, with the dream of becoming a painter.

At the beginning Scaramouche saves a woman from some nasty swordsmen who attempt to murder her , she is really a powerful countesss and Queen's friend . Along the way Scaramouche plays on stage with his troupe and his girlfriend : Freyberg , who wishes anxiously to marry him. Then Scaramouche is hired by a countess : Erna Schurer to avoid a scheme carried out by cunning conspirators.
