Moritz follows a boyfriend to Berlin and is soon abandoned by him. Alone in the big city, he embarks on a journey through a wide range of queer experience. Only through a new circle of queer friends does he develop his own ideas of sexuality and masculinity, leading him to a clearer self-identity.

Two young students bump into each other in Berlin and feel attracted to each other. They tentatively get to know each other, which only adds to their confusion as they are torn between shame and desire.

Like tears in the rain, water is the metaphor for growing pains and so much more in these four tales about young boys coming to terms with a host of emotions for the very first time. These polished productions and festival favourites are brought to you by a host of talented directors from across Germany, Denmark, France and the Netherlands. It's mid-summer. Dimi has to spend the vacation with his older brother by the Baltic Sea. On a country road he meets beautiful Isabelle. He is fascinated by her, but disillusioned when they arrive at the campsite together: Isabelle is in a relationship, and her boyfriend is Dimis’ older brother Steffen. But Dimi doesn't give up and keeps on struggling for her attention. He shares an inflatable mattress with her, scares her in the shower and takes her on a boat trip. Even if Isabelle is unreachable for Dimi – in the end he will have reached something and will have made everyone reflect a little.
