With this film (the second war trilogy set during the Filipino-American war in the early 1900s), the revolution marches on against the Americans after the bloody death of General Antonio Luna. The conflicted philosophies behind the heroic struggle continue and become personified in the colorful character of General Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar.

A group of soldiers led by then-Colonel Cenon Payawan (Cris Villanueva) attacks an NPA camp deep in the wilderness. Among those killed is a rebel woman carrying a child in a sling. Payawan adopts the child, and eighteen years later, the now-retired general and his wife are dealing with her rebellion. Then, her biological father Ka Ruben (an admirably committed Arnold Reyes) suddenly shows up at their doorstep, claiming that he has cancer, and that his dying wish is to get to know his daughter.

An unearthing of Eraserheads’ roots, its meteoric rise to fame and mainstream success, down to its eventual breakup, then leading to its historic reunion concert years after disbandment.

Leung Ming-kai's short film represented the Philippines in the International Competition at France's Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film and the Ishmael Bernal Award for Young Cinema at Cinemanila International Film Festival.
