Maria Miguel, a young, optimistic 21-year-old girl that lost her mother to cancer three years ago and has never met her father, is forced to struggle daily to make a living in a local pizzeria in order to pay a debt. Her life changes dramatically when a wealthy family takes her to live into their house after a bike accident which saved the family's children.

In a neighborhood of the suburbs where avenges the law of the street, a group of teenagers will be required to overcome themselves and challenge their fears to conquer a place in the world.

Cristóvão, an intelligent young man, is tired of being submissive to a society that does not respect him. Throughout the story, he meets Nurb di Street, a respected young man in his neighborhood. Together, they will try to transform Cristóvão into a "di Street."
