The film tells the love story of Çalıkuşu and Fahri. Çalıkuşu loses her family at a young age and goes to live with her aunts. There, she grows up with her cousin Fahri. At this time, Fahri visits Suzan due to his illness. Lütfiye, who plans to separate Çalıkuşu and Fahri, informs Çalıkuşu of the situation. Çalıkuşu leaves home, believing that Fahri has betrayed her.
