The action of the epic film takes place in the second half of World War II. The plot focuses on the liberation of European countries from German occupation and the anti-fascist activities of the communist parties of these countries. After the victory at Stalingrad, a decisive turn occurred during the war. The main aim is the rallying of all patriotic forces, the creation of a national anti-fascist front in the struggling countries. The swift offensive of the Soviet troops, problems with the opening of a second front, major operations and the offensive of the Soviet army lead to the liberation of Europe. Rebellions are rising in different countries - such as the heroic uprising in Warsaw, in Slovenia, Bucharest and other cities. Brave heroes who performed immortal feats in the name of the happiness of mankind and freedom.

He fought in the Spanish civil war, but after the defeat, he turned back on his beliefs. The Major receives a telegram that he needs to send the young communist to another prison. Death awaits him there. In is rage the Major breaks the mandolins. He orders the young communist to be taken out to work. The young man runs off. The Major shoots him himself.

Hiding from the police, Georgi ends up in a small town at the Black sea coast. He falls in love with his friend's sister Yana. Yet again, he finds no sympathy and understanding. He steals again. The investigator wants to help him but Georgi has given up all hope. He wants to commit suicide. Yana is the last spark of hope to bring him back to life.

To avoid complications, everyone decides to keep quiet. However, Sashko decides to break his silence and tell the truth, for which he pays with his life.

The gentleman announces that the monkey is his nephew. It becomes clear that the gentleman is very rich. He bequeaths his wealth to his monkey nephew. All the residents who have unmarried daughters are in a hurry to win the heart of the monkey nephew. But the gentleman mocked them. He leaves,and the monkey stays. Angry people lock her in a cage. Two children let her out.

Among his friends, Sasho is famous for "killing a wolf". Milka, a good-hearted girl falls in love with the heroic boy. They get married and have a baby girl. In order for Sasho to continue his architecture studies, Milka starts to work in a factory. Sasho gives up his studies and he gets involved with a gang of swindlers.
