Cene, the lead character of the comedy series, finds himself at the lowest point of his life. After his marriage hits the skids and he gets fired, he decides to leave the city for the country. He finds another job, decides to leave the past behind and make a new beginning for himself.

In 1940, shortly before the outbreak of war, a young boy Marjan lives a carefree life with his gang in Ljubljana, experiencing all the problems of his age. With Lenka he's experiencing his first "pure" love, while discovering sexuality... The Italian occupation brings many changes, gang breaks up, some join the liberation movement, the others join collaborationist forces. Marjan remain "unlisted". Italians surrender, and hand over the city to Germans. Frivolous Milena, who has good connections with them, seduces Marjan whom she lost her innocence with. The war is over and the partisans win. The new authorities mistakenly imprison Marjan.

L.V. Strocki is a traveling film projectionist in the best years. In the coastal region town he is preparing a film projection on the town square and a television team is making a documentary about this event. During the film projection about the heroines and heroes of an occupied town, a Heroine in a seductive outfit comes to see Strocki in his projection booth.

The drama is inspired by Cankar's work "In the Gorge".

Together with his psychotherapist, he can not escape a common fate...

In the revolutionary year of 1968, Stane is an active rebel student. Mojca is a freshman, has a boyfriend named Vid, whom she met at the carnival party. There she also met her later husband Stane. Vid leaves for military service, while Stane successfully avoids it. During the glorification of this event, Mojca and Stane come together intimately. Upon his return from the army, Vid discovers this love triangle. Stane and Mojca get married. The death of the child and the awareness that Stane is cheating on her, leads Mojca to divorce.

Pianist Mojca is afraid to get into deeper relationship with her partner Tomaž due to her fear of pain. It takes place at a point where a long-standing relationship between the two needs a new step in either direction. And as in life, so in film, life takes an unexpected path and gives Mojca a series of experiences that help her move forward.
