The film describes what it’s like growing up in Germany as Afro-German, with all its facets. The film was made after the racist killing of the black German Adrinio in 2000 by Neo Nazis.
Gellert is addicted. Sitting at the poker table, he must face his past. All he wanted was to pay back his debt. He really needs this last chance. He didn't want all this to happen. He just wanted one last game. One Last Game is a symbolic tale. Like All That Jazz, the movie follows Elizabeth Kuebler Ross's five stages of grief.
