Short reportage
In front of a pavilion at the Fairground in Prague have yeomanry a parade of horse riders in folk costumes. In the front there are a lady wearing a white hat with feathers, man and wife holding hands. Follows the procession of little queens (little girls in folk costumes). The queen is under a canopy. The exhibition visitors are watching the procession.
A fight breaks out over a poster.
Corps Marching
Josef Sváb-Malostranský unrolls a poster in front of a mill with the words Czech Cinematograph. All the actors in the film gather around him. An old philanderer meets up with the miller's wife in front of the mill. He is about to embrace her when her husband appears. The philanderer gets a good hiding.

On the Letná Field in Prague a white horse called Vasil is performing exercises in a circle, being on longe. A man is performing so-called "longeing" - hopping on an unsaddled horse and performing exercises while riding it. At the back you can see the Prague Castle.
The film documents the course of events taking place during the Sokol Festival Gathering of the North-Bohemian District held in the town of Prostějov. We can see the busy square and the adjacent streets, a parade marching through the town, and parts of individual exercise pieces performed near the Prostějov Sokol hall.
