Born Ninnian Joseph Yule in Glasgow, Scotland on 30 April 1892, Joe Yule would become a burlesque and vaudeville entertainer who played Hollywood character roles from the late 30's until his death 30 March 1950 in Hollywood, California. He is the father of acclaimed actor Mickey Rooney (Joe Yule Jr.).
