The show was originally targeted for April 13, however Knapp announced they would change it to April 5 after the UFC announced a show on that date.

UFC 251: Usman vs. Masvidal was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on July 12, 2020 at the du Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A UFC Welterweight Championship bout between current champion Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns was expected to headline the event. However, it was announced on July 3 that Burns was pulled from the contest after he and his coach, Greg Jones, tested positive for COVID-19. Pending pre-fight testing and a 24-hour quarantine, Jorge Masvidal was expected to serve as his replacement. After he passed his initial test, the new main event was confirmed.

UFC 237: Namajunas vs. Andrade was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that was held on May 11, 2019, at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A UFC Women's Strawweight Championship bout between current champion Rose Namajunas and Jéssica Andrade served as the event headliner.

UFC on ESPN: Gane vs. Spivak (also known as UFC on ESPN+ 84) is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on September 2, 2023, at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. The event marks the promotion's second visit to France and first since the country's much anticipated debut at UFC Fight Night: Gane vs. Tuivasa in September 2022.

UFC 223: Khabib vs. Iaquinta is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on April 7, 2018, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Invicta FC 6: Coenen vs. Cyborg was a mixed martial arts event held on 13th July 2013. The event will be headlined by Marloes Coenen vs Cristiane Santos to crown the first Invicta FC Featherweight Champion. It has been stated that the winner between Leslie Smith and Jennifer Maia will get a title shot against Flyweight Champion Barb Honchak

UFC Fight Night 80: Namajunas vs. VanZant was a mixed martial arts event held on December 10, 2015 at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was headlined by a women's strawweight bout between Paige VanZant and Rose Namajunas.

Invicta FC 4: Esparza vs. Hyatt was a mixed martial arts event held on January 5, 2013 at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. The event will be headlined by a strawweight championship bout between Carla Esparza and Bec Hyatt. Esparza was originally scheduled to fight Ayaka Hamasaki for the title but Hamasaki pulled out of the fight due to commitments to defending her JEWELS lightweight title in December and was replaced by undefeated Brazilian fighter Claudia Gadelha. On December 28, Gadelha was forced to withdraw from the main event title fight after suffering a broken nose in training. Gadelha was replaced by Bec Hyatt, who was originally set to face Joanne Calderwood.

UFC 217: Bisping vs. St-Pierre is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on November 4, 2017 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
