A Czech medical television series that focuses on an emergency department. Each episode follows cases inspired by real-life stories and the cases of patients and healthcare professionals.
Set in Czechoslovakia, the drama follows the lives of its characters against the backdrop of real historical events that shape their personal stories. To evoke period atmosphere, the series intersperses authentic clips from vintage Czechoslovak film newsreels, using their original commentaries or newly recorded historical voice-overs by Vladimír Fišer. A narrator, initially voiced by Vojtěch Kotek and later by Matěj Hádek, provides continuity and reflection, guiding viewers through changing times. Under the guidance of screenwriter Rudolf Merkner, each episode’s script weaves family and individual dramas into key moments of Czech and Slovak history: political shifts, cultural trends, and social transformations from the 1960s onward.

Partička is an improvisation show of Prima TV, based on the Slovak version of the same name. The entire program is based on the improvisation of four actors in different games. As in the Slovak version, Daniel Dangl accompanies the show, and Marián Čurko is the music.
An intimate psychological film which elaborates the Faustian theme about the dispute between the body and the soul - a study on human identity. Two young doctors carry out the surgical exchange of the brains of two women who are dying after a car accident - a young girl and member of a criminal gang, and a lonely seventy-year-old associate professor of oriental studies. Standa Pekárek has three wishes in life: to drive a volga, to drive for the Humour and Folk Entertainment editorial office and to drive Got'ák. The five-part miniseries Volha is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Karel Hynia, written in an extraordinary, bizarre and precisely echoed language. It can be perceived as a peculiar history of Czechoslovak television with a number of incredible, albeit real, "stories from the set". At the same time, however, it is a portrait of its main character - a limited egocentric who excels in inventing small tricks and deceptions - how to steal petrol, fake mileage, cheat his wife, get rid of the competition. Logically, he then also becomes a StB collaborator (with the code name Volha) who informs on all his co-workers and passengers without any remorse.
The story is based on Czech fairy tales, which depict water sprites as creatures indistinguishable from humans. They can help humans and form deeper relationships with them. A humanized water sprite also helps the fearful Florianek find happiness. However, as it turns out, Florianek would not have won his beloved without his own courage...

In the small Moravian town of Zvěstov, all the men live for historical battles. They represent the French army, led by their mayor Touchyn (Bolek Polívka), who has had a monopoly on the role of Napoleon for years. This time, they are preparing for a big event—the unveiling of a Napoleonic fountain in the neighboring town of Podolí, attended by television crews and journalists. However, the mayor of Podolí has bad news for Touchyn – this time he has hired a real foreign actor to play Napoleon, who looks more like him. Touchyn is offended and decides to ignore the ceremony. He convinces the people of Zvěstov to do the same, but they regret that they have rehearsed for nothing...
