The All-Star Games is a sports competition reality program. The fixed team of the program is Yao Yuanhao, Li Jiuzhe, Chen Handian, Hu Yuwei, Qiu Yuchen, Xia Hexi, and Xu Zhanyuan and Cai Shanghua are invited to broadcast the event. Qian Weijuan and Jiang Hongjie are the leaders of the two teams. and Lin Mengjie as managers of the two teams. The program is a three-month competition, and each episode will invite 20 star artists to compete against each other.

The story is centered around the transgender protagonist Tzu-chi who has left home for six years and her sister Tzu-chuan with whom she has fallen out of touch for years. From reencountering each other with Tzu-chuan unable to recognize Tzu-chi, to the emotional nuances triggered by the subsequent recognition, the story profiles the protagonist’s gender identity, the contempt and even discrimination she faces from her work and social environment, and conflicts with her family. In the story, the protagonist goes through a series of unfortunate incidents with her sister. Long-repressed emotions and pressures finally pop the cap off, but this also becomes an opportunity for Tzu-chuan to resolve her inner conflicts. This film presents the theme “one can only truly move forward in life by newly confronting the obstacles they did not overcome in the past.”

This screening version was recorded during the tour in Taipei in 2016. It’s Zhu Yingtai’s dream to study art in university. She believes it’s the perfect path to achieve her values and goals. Zhu’s parents, however, do not support her daughter’s decision. Instead, they want Zhu to study business at a top university, forcefully imposing their will on her. Having no choice but to run away from her home, Zhu manages to enter an art school as she wishes. There, she meets Liang Shanbo.

Her effort to earn recognition from her parents and from work falls apart after experiencing a major train derailment accident, followed by the death of her mother. Such life-changing events awaken her desires to break free from the status quo burdened by social and familial responsibilities to “fit in” and “impress”. She realizes she cannot fulfill her aspiration as an educator in the current education system and starts making peace with life of her own accord.
