There's the continent ruled by a repressive government and there's an island where political activists of the continent take refuge on running away from the continent's police. This island is their last stand – there they live in a way not possible in the continent – free love, no possessions, brotherhood… In the continent, a killer is sent to the island to kill the revolutionary leaders. The killer is a woman , Ana (Neide Ribeiro). She will go there as a journalist sent there to interview the leaders of the movement. On arriving to the island, she will find out that things were much different from what she expected. Will Ana be involved by the "island of forbidden pleasures." Will she fulfill her mission?

A poor family, lives in a city near Salvador. The father is cleaner and, mother and daughter help making small services. Until they decide to try the luck in the big city and the father, João, get a job near Pelourinho, next to a dance academy. The daughter, Carla, in contacting music, discovers her true vocation and becomes a very successful dancer. But she does not let himself take away from fame and back to his origins, meets with poor children and teaches them to dance.

They use the servant Girico to get them men on the street. The punishments against the young women reach unbearable levels and many try to flee without success until Solange, the most revolted of the students, after being very punished, plans and kills Frau Gelli and the two bears. The police are called and she is arrested. His colleagues are finally released and the school is closed.
