From a school band from Essen to an internationally celebrated thrash metal legend: To mark Kreator's 40th anniversary in 2024, frontman Mille Petrozza plans to re-record his greatest hits at the famous Hansa Studios in Berlin together with greats from the metal scene such as Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer, Anthrax and many more. With exclusive private archive material, the story of Kreator is told for the first time.

Tom Angelripper narrates the struggles of the band in the mid-Nineties, his many side projects, and yet another drastic line-up overhaul.

In his documentary, filmmaker Daniel Hofmann deals with the history of German thrash metal. He reports on the fans, bands and organizers and offers an insight into the scene.

The DVD/Blu Ray features the band's sold out homecoming show in Oberhausen, Germany on December 22, 2012 after an extensive 45 days European tour in support of their highly successful album »Phantom Antichrist«. The packed and sweat driven show was filmed by 24 cameras as well as guitar and even mosh pit cams.
