In the mid to late '90s, the Reykjavik crime and drug scene saw a drastic change from a relatively small and innocent world into a much more aggressive and violent one.. The film tells the story of this change through the fictional gang of pushers that took control of Iceland's underworld.

After the banking crisis the travel industry became a desirable goldmine in Iceland. When three very different, middle-aged siblings inherit the successful whale watching company and the beautiful summerhouse their parents built, things become extremely difficult. To take joint decisions about the legacy they all feel entitled to creates complex circumstances, and when they start to manipulate what they are to share, old wounds open up with dire consequences.

Ofeigur, the passed away father of Anna Sol walks again and starts to involve her life and her boyfriend, Ingi Brjann. The young couples are going to sell the house of the dead but Ofeigur is not very happy with that and tries to convince them not to do it. The intervention of the ghost is so irritating that Ingi Brjann tries to get him away by using methods from an old magic book.
