People are being killed off near a popular New England mountain lodge, with a legend claiming that the mountain is haunted by a deadly Native American demonic curse.

In a post-Armageddon world, a young woman finds herself in a fight for survival against mutant cavemen, dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.

Set in 1918, Rose helps her younger sister Jessie, escape from an orphanage. Pursued by the man who runs the orphanage, they all end up at a rather peculiar circus, where all the animal acts feature dinosaurs, instead of lions, tigers, and elephants.
