The Mike Douglas Show is an American daytime television talk show hosted by Mike Douglas that originally aired only in the Cleveland area during much of its first two years on the air. It then went into syndication in 1963 and remained on television until 1982. It was distributed by Westinghouse Broadcasting and for much of its run, originated from studios of two of the company's TV stations in Cleveland and Philadelphia.

A group of actors who are waiting to get picked up from their hotel to get taken to set only to be kidnapped by a group of crazed lunatics who just escaped from the mental hospital who take them to an undisclosed location and force them to be in their crazy movie instead of the film they're supposed to be part of. 20 years later, one of the actors from that film, who never worked again after the traumatic experience was now discovered and brought onto a popular talkshow where he reveals what happened to him and about the lost film he was part of. The kidnappers behind the lost film show up at the talk show and the film is finally played for the audience and everyone that watched the lost film will then find themselves part of the next soon to be Lost movie.
