Poor Nastya is a Russian telenovela originally aired from 31 October 2003 to 30 April 2004 on the STS. Based on the imperial setting of the 19th century, the series reached international success and was shown in Ukraine, China, Israel, Serbia, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria and more than twenty countries worldwide. With the budget of $11,8million, it is the most expensive Russian television project of all time. The sequel was planned, but had not been made yet.
A detective story about the life of a young extravagant person named Viola Tarakanova. Explosions, chases, murders, kidnappings-in short, Viola's life is always on the verge of death... The vast majority of phone calls are addressed to the most important women in lives of everyone - to our mothers. But what would it be if because of enormous number of calls telephone network breaks down? What would we do? Someone would wait until network is rebuilt and would congratulate his mom in the evening or even the next day. But others, like the heroes of our movie, would change their plans to congratulate their moms just today ... personally ... as a kid!..
May, 1945... A young pilot Aleksey Kaverin stationed in Germany is going home to Russia for vacation. The problem is he needs to bring a bride. And not only to himself but to four his friends as well.

Lyosha agrees to the adventure, but it is not possible to keep the plan a secret. Everyone wants to get married, and Lyosha flies out of Berlin with documents for 4 of his comrades. On behalf of each of them, he must marry in Nastya's village. He has a day for everything about everything.
