Growing up without parents, Ma Sha has always worked as a lookout in a red-light district. When he is imprisoned for manslaughter following a customer's death, he breaks out of jail but is soon caught again and sent to a correctional institution on Orchid Island. Guided by his former elementary classmate, who is now a penal officer, Ma finally repents his wild past, writing down his stories and eventually publishing them.
When police officer Alvin loses both his star witness and his wife to drug kingpin (and ninja assassin) Rudolph, he vows to get revenge. Travelling to Hong Kong, hot on Rudolph's trail, he teams up with local investigators Gordon, Vivian and Jackie. Meanwhile, a young street punk named Edmund is hunting for the man who killed his father. Could they all possibly be searching for the same person? Another cut-and-paste action flick from IFD Films, this one splices together scenes from the Taiwanese film "Underground Wife" aka "Kill Butterfly Kill" with new footage featuring actor Mike Abbott and a bunch of other doofuses.
Gonzo, action packed rape-revenge themed Taiwanese "Black Movie" featuring Juliet Chan and "Tattooer Ma" Sha. The original "Underground Wife" cut runs 85 minutes, the later IFD "Kill Butterfly Kill" English language cut is 89. This movie was released again by IFD in the late 80s in a 'cut-and-paste' version called "American Commando 6: Kill Butterfly Kill" (see separate listing).
A young woman of considerable social standing receives a curse from a black magician that causes her her head to detach from her body and attack anyone in sight. A good wizard is able to limit the effects of the curse to effect her only on the 15th of each month, but when she falls in love, things get complicated.
