China, year 1457. The Minister of Defense is executed, and his children are sentenced to exile by order of the tyrannical Tsao. When Emperor Xian Feng (1831-1861) favourite concubine Cao died, he had her secretly buried in a huge cavern of the remote Qing Gang Mountains. About 20 years later it appears that 1 of 8 palace maiden, chosen to follow her to the death, escaped and is now most wanted by a bunch of unscrupulous bandits, who want her to lead to them to that hidden location. They encounter unexpected resistance, when they are opposed by a quintet of women fighters and a male government official.

A masked mastermind named The Owl holds an exclusive auction every year, selling special slaves and rare objects of art. One of the customers requests that he obtain the 36th wife of the emperor, for the next auction. The Owl agrees and arranges for the woman to be kidnapped. The emperor sends a messenge to a trusted royal guard, assigning him the task of rescuing his wife. Unfortunately the guard has died, but his son, David Chiang, takes the assignment. He hunts up two of his father's friends for assistance. They have both retired, but their sons, Barry Chan and Eric Tsang, agree to help out. So David, Barry, and Eric go forward on their quest to rescue the woman and unmask The Owl.

To free his girlfriend from her contract with a greedy madam, Shang Li (Don Wong) teams up with a cold-blooded thief called the Sparrow (Chiang-lung Wen) to hijack a large shipment of silver. But when the heist suddenly goes bad, Shang Li finds himself with blood on his hands and a price on his head. Martial arts superstars Angela Mao and Lieh Lo also star in this kung fu classic from writer-director Pao-Shu Kao.

Rare was the film in 1973 that incorporated the star's name in the title. One of the few such films was Screaming Ninja, aka Wang Yu, King of Boxing. The story is set in China in the early 1900x. Essentially playing an extension of himself, action-star Wang-Yu spends much of the time defending himself against evil martial-arts masters. He also tries to make sense of a tragic incident in his past.

This crazy 1970s martial arts action flick will delight fans of the genre.

The Fighting of Shaolin Monk tells the story of the Famed Monk, Tamo (Chen Sing Hong Kong's most prolific action star) who was one of the original founders of the Shaolin Temple. Monk Tamo travels from India preaching peace and Buddhism. But if they wanted peace they never should have gotten Chen Sing to portray Tamo, as he soon gets involved with a local town that is besieged by a warlord who is trying to control the regions water supply. The final fight is Chen Sing vs. Ko Fei in a battle to the death. this is not to be missed!

The Three Kingdoms period begins as the walled fortress of Hsin Yang falls to invaders. Centered around this historical event, The Last Days of Hsin Yang follows the escape of the prince of Hsin Yang as he hides with a small family and escapes from the sacked and burning city. Epic battle scenes employ hundreds of extras, and forest swordplay is reminiscent of House of Flying Daggers.
