The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex and Anna who are expecting their first child and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde.

Parlamentet is a satirical panel gameshow on on TV4, which parodies Swedish political debate. It was first broadcast in 1999 and is currently in its 23rd series. The current presenter is Anders S. Robins is a Swedish late-night talk show which premiered on SVT2 on August 23, 2006. The host is the young stand-up comedian Robin Paulsson from Malmö. The show's format is similar to that of other late-night shows, Robin makes jokes about recent news, shows sketches, and talks to a guest in the studio. One of the most popular sketches in the show features Robin appearing as Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Talang Sverige, formerly named Talang between 2007–2011, is the Swedish version of the Got Talent series show where singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other performers compete against each other for audience support and the prize money. The show was broadcast for five seasons on TV4, between 2007–2011, before TV4 put the show on indefinite hiatus. Two years later, on June 19, 2013, TV3 announced that they had acquired the rights for the show and will re-launch the show in Spring 2014 under the name "Talang Sverige".

100 höjdare was a Swedish TV series which was produced and aired on Kanal 5. Six seasons of the show were produced and it ran from 2004 to 2008. It was hosted by the comedy duo Filip Hammar & Fredrik Wikingsson. In the first three seasons the hosts presented funny moments, often in the form of video clips, listing their 100 all-time favorites. In season two and three they also discuss the clips with celebrity guests. By season four the format changed and instead of showing clips, Filip and Fredrik made impromptu interviews with people, often in their homes.

Morgonsoffan was a comedy program on SVT1, that primarily parodied the traditional morning programs Gomorron Sverige and Nyhetsmorgon. The show was hosted by Petra Mede and David Batra. Morgonsoffan premiered 12 March 2008. The last program was broadcast 16 December 2008.
