Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

Other side stories include the love relationship between Baby Stompanato and Joana Martini, and the life of Majô Prado, a neurotic millionairess and prominent personality living in São Paulo.
'Cuca Legal' tells the story of Mário Barroso, a single aviator involved with three women at the same time: VirgĂnia, Irene, and Fátima. VirgĂnia is a wealthy businesswoman obsessed with the direction of her late father's business; Irene is a middle-class young woman who gives private piano lessons; and Fátima is a poor widow. Mário can't decide which of them is the ideal woman to give him a child with a "cool head" (cuca legal). Things get even more complicated when Maria Joaquina, nicknamed Kinu, VirgĂnia's mother, also catches the aviator's attention. To escape the troubles he constantly gets into, Mário relies on the help of his mother, Dalva, and JacarĂ©, his great friend.
On Paquetá Island, Carolina dreams of reuniting with a childhood sweetheart, unaware that it's Augusto, her brother's friend. After adventures and misunderstandings, the couple struggles to stay together.
The story takes place in SĂŁo Paulo, in the late 1920s, and has Mariano's memories as its starting point. Orphaned, he loses the aunt who raised him and ends up in Madame Iara's brothel, where he meets two people who transform his life: Esmeraldo, a gigolo who loves the good life who becomes his master; and the prostitute Guadalupe, known as Lu, a sweet and extremely sensual woman. Esmeraldo is Lu's boyfriend, whom he loves unconditionally. Mariano enters the couple's lives and ends up falling in love with her, thus forming the love triangle that drives the entire narrative.

According to an Amazonian indigenous legend, a certain insect, Anophelis sexualis, has aphrodisiac properties: one who is bitten by it will surely die if it does not have sex within two hours. Knowing this news, Hans Muller, a scientist, moves to the habitat of the insect and collects several specimens for research in his laboratory in the city of Ilha Bela, on the coast of SĂŁo Paulo. There, besides the local administration and the population, there are several tourists. By an accident, the insects flee and attack the world.
A nationalist musician, Hélio, plans to stage a samba show at a luxury hotel nightclub. The owner, Ademar, influenced by his daughter Marisa, is only interested in big jazz acts. Hélio, aided by Bebeto and Dorothéia, presents a fake Dorothy Bridge and a Sunday Júnior, parodies of Eartha Kitty and Sammy Davis Junior. While being covered by these fake artists, Hélio searches for a singer for a repertoire based on Carmen Miranda.
