Of particular interest was the casting of Dana Wynter as Queen Elizabeth, Stewart Granger as Prince Philip, Olivia de Havilland as the Queen Mother, and Ray Milland as a general factotum around the Palace.

This movie shows another side to spousal abuse that not too many people thought is possible--the husband being abused and the wife the abuser.
